The ‘emerging talent program’ (etp) is defined as  a series of player and team development initiatives designed to meet the attitudes, desires and aspirations of today’s top talent across the entire Chicago Fire  youth development program.
ETP is supplementary and in addition to a players existing club provision and includes five programs:
-Chicago Fire Pre-academy;
-Elite ID Program;
-Generation Red;
-Girls Premier Program;
-International Soccer Tours;
-Wisconsin Fire.

CHICAGO FIRE PREPARATORY ACADEMY (NEW)

A clear focus of the PREPARATORY ACADEMY is to technically and tactically prepare CFJ players for the Chicago Fire Academy. Aimed at u7 to u14 boys, pre-academy events allow academy coaching staff to monitor and evaluate CFJ player performance. The Pre- Academy is age specific and includes Fire Festival for U7 to U9 Boys and Pre Academy for u10 to u14 Boys.

Features Include:

-Soccer Fire Festival at Toyota Park for u7 to u9 Boys;

-Centers of Excellence & Academy Games for u10 to u14 Boys.


ELITE ID PROGRAM

Chicago Fire Juniors ELITE ID PROGRAM  includes a collection ‘all-star’ teams of players from all local CFJ Clubs and Florida, Indiana, Kentucky Louisiana & Michigan. A focus of this program is to identify ‘emerging talent’  from across the Fire Juniors Club network, place them in a training camp environment before selecting players to represent Fire Juniors Elite SC in a national youth tournament.

Features includes:
– Camp to identify players via a 4-day residential (invite only) in June/July;
– Disney Juniors  Showcase  Tournament (FL) for under 13 and under 14 boys & girls in November;
– Mayors Cup International Tournament (NV)  for under 15 and under 16/17 boys & girls in February.


GENERATION RED

Chicago Fire Juniors GENERATION RED is a number of ‘all-star’  high school aged teams comprised of elite players from the 5 Fire Juniors youth soccer clubs based in Chicago (City, North, North Gold, South & West) plus Michigan and Indiana (girls only). A focus of this program is to create competitive boys and girls teams to compete in signature college showcase tournament events

Features includes:
-Camp to identify players (Invite only) in August (girls) and November (boys);
-Indoor and Outdoor Practices;
-College Showcase tournament competition.


GIRLS PREMIER PROGRAM (NEW)

The Chicago Fire Juniors GIRLS PREMIER PROGRAM is a project aimed at raising the standard of female soccer across the Chicago based Fire Juniors youth club network. The ‘premier’ program is in additional to player club practices and games.The Girls Premier is age specific and includes Fire Festival for U7 to U9 Girls and Girls Premier for u10 to u14 Girls.

Features includes:

-Soccer Fire Festival at Toyota Park for u7 to u9 Girls;

-Centers of Excellence and Competitive Games for u10 to u14 Girls.


WISCONSIN FIRE

Launched in August 2013 in partnership with the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA), the WISCONSIN FIRE is a elite player development program which includes ‘all-star’ teams of players from 10 Wisconsin based youth clubs.

Features includes:
-Camp to identify players (invite only) in August;
-Indoor and Outdoor Practices in Fall, Winter & Spring;
-MRL /MLS tournament competition in Fall & Spring
